TIME, TIME, TIME...

It's a verse off track 4, Tiny Cities, Mark Kozelek's cover of various Modest Mouse songs. Not bad, it's been in strong rotation as of late.

Been a busy, hectic week. Had an incredible dinner with a group of amazing friends on Thur. Became better friends with a Russian named Alex who is apparently a big shot action movie star in his homeland. I now have the perfect excuse to go visit Moscow...and watch Russian movies.

Huge success on Friday as I landed my first editorial ever. It sounds stupid to anyone reading this, but it's something we go nuts over in the PR world. A big deal when you're trying to sway opinion in favor of a client or particular issue.

Saw Low last night at Logan Square, great show. Amazing vocal harmonies between the husband/wife duo and just the perfect mix of gentle tunes I needed to ease my mind after a long, long week.

Looking forward to a weekend getaway to Nashville next weekend, haven't been back since 2002. Seeing a guilty pleasure of mine perform at 3rd and Lindsey.

Ah yes, a recent pleasant discovery of mine is Cabarnet-Merlot Yellow Tail wine. The "Blue" label if you will. I've always sided with the "Purple" label and continue to treat it with fair respect, but give Blue a try...it's just as good. It's like switching Johnny Walker labels...without having to pay $150. Cheers.
